"Buttermilk Falls - Aglow"
Ithaca, New York
My on-going quest for the right "light" has been greatly challenged by this lovely place, but I finally got the perfect day. If you wish to see more views of Buttermilk Falls, including the upper section of the park with it's many beautiful waterfalls, check out the Buttermilk Falls photographs at ASHnatkoDesigns where there's a gallery totally devoted to Buttermilk Falls State Park. |

"Ithaca Falls - White Caps"
Ithaca, New York
The intensity of the boiling stream is caught in front of the falls after a heavy summer downpour has turned into bright skies. More photographs of Ithaca Falls can be seen along with Several of Cascadilla Gorge at a gallery that concentrates on the Ithaca waterfalls . |

"Cascade Falls in August"
Watkins Glen, New York
The gorge is so narrow in places that sunlight seldom reaches the streambed. This increases the difficulty of getting a good shot. |

"Storm Brewing"
Taughannock Falls State Park
This photograph captures that rare moment just before a storm breaks. Just a short while later, when I stopped by the lake the storm hit, then transmuted into the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen. |

"Lucifer Falls From the Overlook"
Robert Treman State Park
There are so many glorious views in Upper Enfield Glen that it is hard to pick a favorite but this ranks high in my list. There are many more photographs of the various waterfalls in Upper Enfield Glen and Lucifer Falls. This link will take you to a gallery that includes the pathways to the waterfalls as well. Robert Treman State Park as a whole is an enchanting experience. |

"Middle Falls"
Letchworth State Park
This is one of the three major falls, in a three mile stretch. There are numerous "lesser" falls which contribute to the appeal of the park. A photograph of the Upper Falls can be found in a collection of waterfall photographs at my newly updated web site, ASHnatkoDesigns.com . |

"Joe Pye Weed"
Ludlowville Falls
A small treasure that has escaped most of the guide books, this waterfall is a delight to capture in its many moods. In a colder season I took a photograph of the waterfall from a different viewpoint. |
