My love of the woods and of waterfalls began early, when I was growing up on a small farm along the Connecticut River.  Our land was mostly hillside and woods with our own private waterfall a short walk back from the river.  Whatever childhood woes I carried were soothed and cured by my visit to the sanctuary of that waterfall in the forest.  That special feeling is reawakened each time I hear the music of a nearby waterfall. My goal as a photographer is to convey to you that same sense of peace and pleasure that I feel.  Having my home filled with these images brings me a few minutes of calm whenever I need a break from my various tasks.  If the photograph I send can do the same for you I will feel successful.
